This is a unique opportunity to manage a dedicated team, ensure high standards of quality and safety, and contribute to a secure and efficient work preparation at Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Correctional Institution in Rhinelander, WI.

Position Overview

As the Assistant Food Service Director, you’ll play a vital role in supporting daily operations, ensuring food quality, and mentoring staff. You’ll help manage production, enforce food safety standards, and contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment. In the absence of the Food Service Director, you’ll take full charge—making this a key leadership position with room to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate resources and tools are available for daily food production.
• Oversee food quality, portion control, and service line operations.
• Supervise and train staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation including production sheets, logs, and tool control forms.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and support the Food Service Director as needed.

What will I get paid?

$21 - $24 per hour, based on experience.

• Proven food service experience required.
